2010 Examinations & Presentation Classes

What is involved?
Ballet Exam
To be able to attain the examination standard, students are required to attend a minimum of 2 ballet classes per week.  This enables the student to be not only capable of accomplishing the technique of the steps, but also confident in the settings of the exercises and in performing their dance as a solo.

Students also need to attend holiday classes during the September/October holidays to practice exam procedures.

Presentation Class
Students are required to attend a minimum of 1 ballet class per week. 

Attendance at the holiday classes is also important.  The dance performed in the Presentation Class is a group dance.

The costs?
Ballet Exam

  • Entry fee

  • Minimum of 2 classes per week

  • Holiday classes ($70)
  • Private lessons, if required to focus on individual needs
  • Hire of satin shoes (and Primary exam skirt) for the exam

Presentation Class
